Travel Directions for Christ Church, Cordele

Christ Church is located just off East 16th Avenue in Cordele (which is Highway 280 connecting Savannah to Americus and points west)

From I-75 (either North or South):  Take exit 101 and head west into Cordele. You will pass several neighborhood malls on your right. As you pass The Highlight Cinema (about one mile), begin watching for your turn. At the intersection of 1st Street, (you will see an insurance agency on each side of the intersection) turn right onto 1st Street and go one block. You will see Christ Episcopal Church on the northwest corner of 1st Street and 15th Avenue.

From Hwy 280 East (from Rochelle): Head west into Cordele. After going under I-75, you will pass several neighborhood malls on your right. As you pass The Highlight Cinema (about one mile from the interstate), begin watching for your turn. At the intersection of 1st Street, (you will see an insurance agency on each side of the intersection) turn right onto 1st Street and go one block. You will see Christ Episcopal Church on the northwest corner of 1st Street and 15th Avenue.

From Hwy 280 West (from Americus):  As you enter Cordele, Highway 280 becomes 16th Avenue. Your first cross street is 15th Street. You will continue headed east for 14 blocks, through 4 traffic lights. At the intersection of 1st Street, (you will see an insurance agency on each side of the intersection) turn left onto 1st Street and go one block. You will see Christ Episcopal Church on the northwest corner of 1st Street and 15th Avenue.

From Hwy 257 South (from Hawkinsville): As you enter Cordele, go over I-75, proceeding west. You will pass Sunnyside Cemetery on both sides of Hwy 257 (now 8th Avenue). At 1st Street, which dead-ends into 8th Avenue, turn left. There will be a Georgia National Guard Armory building at the intersection. Cross two sets of railroad tracks. You will see Christ Episcopal Church on your right at the intersection of 15th Avenue and 1st Street.

From Hwy 41 (North or South): As you enter Cordele, Hwy 41 becomes 7th Street. At the intersection of 7th Street with 16th Avenue (also Hwy 280), you will turn east onto 16th Avenue. There is a Church's Fried Chicken restaurant and a Country Boy's restaurant on the corner. Travel six blocks to 1st Street and turn left. Go one block. Christ Episcopal Church is on the northwest corner of the intersection of 1st Street and 15th Avenue.
