Students who desire
to be a candidate for the Dennis Reddick Scholarship must
complete the application packet which may be obtained from the
church office, (located at 406 S. 1st Street in Cordele), from
the guidance office of Crisp County High School and Crisp
Academy, or downloaded from this website.

The student must be
enrolled in an accredited college degree program.

The student must be
a citizen of the United States and a legal resident. The student
must not ever have been convicted of any infraction of the law
which would normally preclude the student from serving in the
military or holding public office.

The student must
furnish the selection committee with written statements of
recommendation from one teacher at their high school and at
least one adult, not related to the student, of good standing in
the community. This second recommendation will not be from a
member of Christ Episcopal Church.

The scholarship
recipient will be selected by a local selection committee
appointed by the scholarship committee to include:
a. The senior warden of the vestry.
b. The scholarship committee
c. Others designated by the committee
d. Mrs. Dennis Reddick or other local educator appointed to the
committee

The scholarship
monies will be paid to the accredited college/university of the
student’s choice. Proof of enrollment is required prior to
issuance of the monies by the church. The amount of scholarship
and method of payment will be at the discretion of the above
executive committee.
SELECTION OF THE RECIPIENT WILL BE WITHOUT
REGARD TO RACE, SEX, NATIONAL ORIGIN, OR RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION
COMPLETION AND SUBMISSION OF THIS
APPLICATION WILL BE CONSIDERED PERMISSION OF THE STUDENT AND PARENT
TO CHECK ACADEMIC AND CRIMINAL FILES TO VERIFY REQUIRED INFORMATION
